Weakness

Who is weaker? Macbeth or Lady Macbeth?  Why?
 i think macbeth is weaker. he is weaker because he has guilt of the killings he commited. he also didn't want to kill the king when his wife told him to. and all also he did not even have the guts to kill his best friend Banquo he sent someone to do his dirty job.

And Action!

Describe the process you took to present your scene. What went well? Not so well? What would you do differently next time you had to do a scene?
during my scene (act 5 scene 5) we had props and a costume and i remembered my lines. the only thing that went wrong was that my teamates forgot their lines. next time we will help eachother with the lines.

Power: Test Question

In a short essay (5 paragraphs) explain this quote:"Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely."Make sure you give examples of how this is true both in *Macbeth* and in real life.

Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely means haviing power that can corrupt someones judgement and how the treat others. Absolute power is like a ruler who has power, but at the same the ruler takes advantage of that power.  I also think that this quote could say that even with lots of power there's no good in it or use of it.
     For example, once Macbeth went to go kill the king; he and his wife became king and queen. Lady macbeth was very trilled that she became queen because she wanted authority. Which also made her have absolute power. With this power that she been wanting she could rule or kill someone with one word.
     Another example could be, the sons of Duncan. Malclom and Donalbain. Once they found out of that their father was killed they escaped because they were cowards. This shows that they were the next heir to absolute power, but instead of taking the opportunity they rejected it or corrupted it.
     Another example could be, like in Alice in Wonderland (Johnny Depp version). The queen with the big head was never in charge of the kingdom only the white queen her sister (Ann Hathaway); but then one day the big head ambushed her sister with all her people. She took the crown and made her self queen. from there on she took advantae of the crown and anybody (or off with their heads!) who pissed her off.
     To conclude, Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely can mean tAKING AN ADVANTAGE of the crown and using it for bad. Or it can  mean having the advantage but not taking it. What will you decide?
  

Paranoia

Are Macbeth’s paranoia due to his own weakness or a consequence of what he did?
I think Macbeth paranoia is due to his consequence of what he did. In other words Macbeth paranoia is due to the killing of king Duncan. 

Factors that Influence

What are the factors that influence how a director presents a scene? Why do you think different directors see things so differently?

The script and dialog can influence how a director can present a scene. It can also make different directors see things differently. Making the scene different or closely similar.

Man

*Discuss the question, what does it mean to be a “man”? Do you agree with Lady Macbeth’s view? Or do you think Macbeth’s consideration is more “manly”?*
A man to me is someone who can provide for himself and his loved ones. Also one who can take care of them as well. But someone who is in charge, but not to strict to hurt others as well. I think that Macbeth's consideration is more "manly" because at least Macbeth describes it better than macbeth.

Ambition

i think that the lady macbeth is the one who really wants to kill king duncan.I also think that lady macbeth is trying to take over. we also know that lady macbeth wants to to be a king more than macbeth.So what is she really planning?
